So it's finally time to name the kitty. The poll winning name was grace/grijs but Emme had a valid objection: her bull terrier is called grace and as she put it they are on opposite ends of the pet spectrum. Second poll winning name was mittens. It's definitely a cute name (and it rhymes with kitten - thanks Papa) but I wonder how naff I'll feel calling a grown up cat mittens
... but today after I came home and the cute furrball was balancing on my knee I noticed she has an M between her eyes. Seriously!
Brendan you won... our cat is called mittens.

Ummm....... sorry dudes but most kittens have a M between their eyes - hence the predictable names of Magic, Merlin and yes, Mittens..... Welcome to life Catbert!!!!!
Sorry and better not feed Catbert too much human food - as a treat you can give her raw chicken but generally it bads for kitty kats.......
also... human food makes kittens have stinky poo. chief wiggan's son's cat's name is mittens. i think i prefer catbert.
its ok to have multiple names. cats generally just respond to their food bowl rattling. our cats have several names and ignore us which ever we use. and they never get offended...
That's very true... whenever I call Emma she runs away, lies down, ignores me... just depends what she feels like doing :)
